Sotheby’s online auction «Summer Jewels: A Brilliant Menagerie»

The unique pieces from Jewellery Theatre were sold at Sotheby’s online auction «Summer Jewels: A Brilliant Menagerie» on 5 August 2021 in Hong Kong.

 Sotheby’s selected many beautiful bejewelled beasts in order to create a most brilliant menagerie. The magnificent jewellery pieces from the exclusive Fairy Tales and Animals collections were highly appreciated by connoisseurs of art. The Fire Bird featuring the gorgeous tourmaline, the Frog Princess, the Three Headed Dragon – all these jewels were sold at a high price.

 The unique Dragon sculpture became one of the most popular lots. With no reserve price, the exquisite Dragon was sold well above the pre-sale high estimate.

 Another highlight of the Animals collection was the exclusive silver set designed as a family of lions.
