Jewellery Theatre is amongst the participants in the exhibition Jewels of Nature,
which opened on May 3 rd at museum Naturama in Svendborg, Denmark, the
exhibition with jewellery and art objects made by Danish and international goldsmiths
and silversmiths.

The challenge of immortalizing chosen animals in precious metals and precious
gemstones have met in to beautiful unique pieces of jewellery and extraordinary art
objects. As animal metaphors, the jewellery and art objects speak of and to human
history.

Jewellery Theatre presents Squirrel sculpture from The Fairytales collection made of
925 gold-plated silver, diamonds and tsavorites. This work of Jewellery Theatre
craftsmen is based on native cultural heritage. The collection The Fairytales borrows
its colourful images from Slavic mythology and folktales. The squirrel turned into
amazing jewellery piece of art which is bright and refined, it is symbolical. The
mythology brings us the fairytale squirrel peeling a gold nut filled with precious
emeralds hereby providing the wealth and prosperity to its owner.
